OK, enough already. I don't much care for sticking it to the man, I'm not so naive as to believe using Firefox means I'm safe or impervious to unfriendly code and, I am not about to overlook the fact that Firefox v1.5.01 (and earlier versions come to think of it) use WAY TOO MUCH systems resources. Enough to bring a variety of systems down to their knees (at least until the firefox process get a kill signal up it's ass). Case in point, I had been using Opera and had about 34 pages open but then ran into some JavaScript incompatibility/wierdness on a website I was visiting. So, I retrieved Firefox v1.5.0.1 from purgatory and fired it up. Navigated to the choosy website and as I expected, the page loaded without any problems (Firefox has better JavaScript support than Opera imo). All good and dandy so I continued with Firefox. Have you ever tried to install Bugzilla on a Windows server?. Bugzilla's documentation has this to say about Windows: Making Bugzilla work on Microsoft Windows is no picnic. Support for Win32 has improved dramatically in the last few releases, but, if you choose to proceed, you should be a very skilled Windows Systems Administrator with strong troubleshooting abilities, a high tolerance for pain, and moderate perl skills. Bugzilla on NT requires hacking source code and implementing some advanced utilities. At this point I find myself wondering about the lack of an installer for Bugzilla on Windows.
